Growing Tips for Dream Berry

Dream Berry is the perfect choice for novice cultivators looking to gain some experience with a top-shelf bud. Dream Berry marijuana plants will thrive indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the ability to completely control the climate. If you choose to grow indoors, you will need to replicate a steady environment similar to a warm, Mediterranean-style climate. Dream Berry cannabis seeds grow into bright green and orange plants coated in a thick layer of dusty resin trichomes. The buds are tall and long as well as dense and dank. If you choose to grow outdoors, you will need consistent temperature and humidity throughout the season to bring these plants to completion. Doing so will ensure that you grow healthy buds from the top of the plants down to the buds closest to the soil. Having access to a greenhouse is the best way to give these plants the ideal outdoor climate without having to contend with unexpected weather variables — a particularly useful approach in many Canadian regions. These plants grow to a medium to tall height and can reach around 0.6–4 metres tall. Because the plants can reach a maximum indoor and outdoor height of approximately 4 metres, you will need to carve out ample vertical space so this strain can reach its fullest potential. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 21–27°C and slightly cooler at night. Humidity levels should be kept around 30–55% during the vegetative growth stage and the flowering stage, though gradually lowering the humidity each week will help this plant thrive. Growing indoors will ensure that moderate humidity levels and moderate temperatures are consistent and maintained every day that the plants are in the growing stages. Screen of Green (ScrOG) and Low-Stress Training (LST) methods are the most beneficial techniques for this strain. If performed correctly, these methods will help increase overall yields and improve bud production. They help to adjust the canopy so that fresh air and light penetrate the top branches and reach the bottom buds, while also reinforcing the heaviest bud sites so they don't bend or break the branches. The Dream Berry strain requires an 18–20 hour light cycle to reach the vegetative stage of growth. Changing the light cycle to a 12/12 cycle will help to induce the flowering stage and bring your plants to harvest.

Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest

  • Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Dream Berry strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 50–60 days.
  • Yields: Indoor yields are around 350 grams per square metre, while outdoor grows typically produce up to 400 grams per plant. These substantial plants will reward growers with hefty yields of beautiful and delicious buds.
  • Harvest: Outdoor growers across Canada can plan on harvesting their yields around the beginning of October, depending on when the seeds were planted.

Dream Berry: Sweet Berries

The Dream Berry cannabis strain's terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes, and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is caryophyllene, while limonene and myrcene are the secondary terpenes.

  • Caryophyllene: Most Dominant - Spicy and peppery, caryophyllene is most commonly found in cloves, black pepper, and cannabis plants.
  • Limonene: Secondary Terpene - Commonly found in the rinds of citrus fruits like lemons and oranges, this terpene gives cannabis a citrusy scent and flavour.
  • Myrcene: Mother of All Terpenes - Myrcene is responsible for some cannabis strains' earthy and woody flavour and aroma.
