Death Star is one of the easiest strains to grow in the cannabis world. Death Star marijuana plants will thrive indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the ability to completely control the climate. If you choose to grow indoors, you will need to replicate a steady environment similar to a warm Mediterranean climate. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 21–27°C and slightly cooler at night. Humidity levels should be kept around 30–50% during the vegetative growth stage and the flowering stage, and gradually lowering humidity each week will help this plant thrive. Growing indoors will ensure that moderate humidity levels and moderate temperatures are consistent and maintained every day that the plants are in the growing stages. Topping, Screen of Green (ScrOG), and Low-Stress Training (LST) methods are the most beneficial techniques for this strain. If performed correctly, these methods will help to increase overall yields and improve bud production. They will also reinforce the heavier bud sites, keeping branches and stems from breaking under the weight while controlling the canopy, allowing air and light to reach the lower buds. The Death Star strain requires an 18–20 hour light cycle to remain in the vegetative stage of growth. You will need to alter the light cycle to a 12/12 cycle in order to trigger the flowering stage of growth.
