Growing Tips for Blueberry Waltz

Blueberry Waltz is a beginner-friendly cultivar that grows well indoors or out, though indoor grows are easier thanks to better climate control. Indoors, aim for a Mediterranean-like environment with temperatures between 21–27°C and high humidity—70–90% during veg and flowering. These short, bushy plants reach about 90 centimetres tall, making them ideal for tight spaces or multi-plant grows. Buds are dense, resin-heavy, and sticky, with flashes of blue under light. Low-Stress Training (LST) works best to boost yields. Use an 18–20 hour light cycle for veg, then switch to 12/12 to kick off flowering. A greenhouse is your best bet if you're growing outdoors. Please note that home cultivation is permitted for personal use under Canadian federal law, currently allowing up to four plants per household, though regulations may vary by province.

Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest

  • Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Blueberry Waltz strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 55–65 days.
  • Yields: Indoor yields are around 350 grams per square metre, while outdoor grows typically produce up to 450 grams per plant. These yields are impressive considering how short the flowering period is. If you want higher yields, you can plant multiple plants in a smaller area to increase those desired yields, within the limits permitted under Canadian regulations.
  • Harvest: Outdoor growers across Canada can plan on harvesting their yields around the middle of October, depending on when the seeds were planted and local climate conditions.

Blueberry Waltz: Sweet and Fruity

The Blueberry Waltz terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes, and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is caryophyllene, while myrcene, pinene, linalool, and humulene are the secondary terpenes.

  • Caryophyllene: Most Dominant - Spicy and peppery, this terpene can be found in cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, and cannabis.
  • Myrcene: Secondary Terpene - The "Mother of all terpenes", myrcene is commonly found in most cannabis cultivars.
  • Pinene: Conifer Trees - Pinene is mostly found in cannabis plants and pine needles, as well as conifer trees. It gives cannabis a piney taste and aroma.
  • Humulene: Earthy - This terpene is found mostly in beer with high hop content and has an earthy fragrance.
  • Linalool: Floral Scent - Linalool is found in cannabis plants and in flowers like lavender, giving off a floral scent and flavour.
