Blueberry Headband Seeds
Blueberry Headband is an indica-dominant cultivar with up to 20% THC and a fruity, blueberry-forward flavour. Its relaxing effects and classic diesel aroma make it a go-to for nighttime use.
Growing Tips for Blueberry Headband
Blueberry Headband isn't beginner-friendly, but it can thrive indoors or outdoors with the right setup. Indoors is easier since you can control the climate—think warm and slightly humid, like a Mediterranean environment. A greenhouse helps outdoors, keeping conditions steady and avoiding surprises.
These plants grow tall—up to 10 feet—so indoor growers will need to raise their lights to avoid burning the top buds. Expect sticky, dark green buds with purple and orange hairs and a strong fruity-gas aroma.
Keep temperatures between 20–26°C (cooler at night), and humidity around 40–70% depending on the growth stage. Topping and LST work great to manage height and boost light to the lower buds. Use an 18–20 hour light cycle for veg, then switch to 12/12 to start flowering.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Blueberry Headband strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 50–60 days.
- Yields: Indoor yields are around 300 grams per square metre, while outdoor grows typically produce up to 200 grams per plant. Even though these plants grow taller than most, they still produce smaller yields even when grown to their maximum height of 10 feet.
- Harvest: Outdoor growers can plan on harvesting their yields around the middle of October, depending on when the seeds were planted.
Blueberry Headband: Earthy and Herbal Blueberries
The Blueberry Headband terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes, and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is terpinolene, while myrcene, pinene, and limonene are the secondary terpenes.
- Terpinolene: Most Dominant - An aromatic compound known for its piney, citrusy, floral, and herbal notes when found in cannabis plants.
- Myrcene: Secondary Terpene - The "Mother of all Terpenes", myrcene gives cannabis its earthy flavour and aroma. Myrcene can be found in several cannabis strains.
- Pinene: Piney - Pinene can be found in pine needles, conifer trees, and cannabis plants. This terpene gives cannabis its pine-like flavour and aroma.
- Limonene: Citrusy - Found commonly in the rinds of citrus fruits such as lemons, limonene can decrease anxiety and improve lung function when found in cannabis plants.
