B.C.G.A.'s Orange Crush is a product of California Orange and Blueberry parents that together produce a creamy orange cannabis seed that rivals many hybrids, delivering a super happy mind and body high. Like many good things, they are worth the wait. The BCGA has worked to develop this hybrid but the ideal results will require some patience and a bit longer time to harvest.

So we already know we have your interest, now let's talk about how to make it a reality. Where and how to grow with best results, what you can expect from an indoor yield and an outdoor environment, what productive plants will look like, and even a bit of background if you're new to this venture.

As mentioned earlier, Orange Crush is great for novice growers or intermediate growers. Since the folks at BCGA did all the hard work, we can enjoy a fresh orange happy high from their cloning expertise with relative ease.

Orange Crush will thrive in just about all wet and dry climates but the ideal spot would be a Mediterranean-like environment. There's no need for special nutrients or an expectation of space. The plants won't spread out too much and will max out at about 15" medium height plants.

If you're opting to grow Orange Crush seeds indoors to create temperature and humidity conditions to boost your yield, the ideal temperature conditions are around 21°C in a dry atmosphere. Try to set a 50% RH humidity level. The plants will grow well even under low light, as long as you're exposing them to more than 30 watts.

Growing your own plants can be rewarding and satisfying. Knowing exactly where your product comes from can ease any concerns you may have. There are some tried and true methods and great seeds for first-time growers. Start by deciding if you will grow indoors or out and then make a list of needed supplies based on that. It just takes a little time, a little knowledge, and the right seeds to germinate.

1. Place a paper towel with a few seeds in running water until it's soaked.
2. Put the wet paper towel in a small plastic container at 21–29°C. The seeds need a warm environment to germinate.
3. Now you wait. Check your seeds daily until you see them sprout. This could take 3 to 10 days. Be patient.
4. Once your seedlings have sprouted you can transfer them to something like a Jiffy pellet with good soil.

Take it from us: if you want your home to smell of an orange creamsicle, you need to grow this strain at home. The orange creamsicle aroma and flavour will immediately transport you to your childhood years when you'd hang out by the pool in the middle of summer.

Let's try that the other way around. How long will it take and how much can you expect to harvest? Orange Crush has a flowering period of 7–9 weeks after which you'll need to let the buds cure for at least a week. You can gaze with pride at all of the orange hairs covering the crystallised buds and just imagine the euphoric high that will soon follow.

Good thing it's fairly prolific because it promises to be popular with your friends and they will be eagerly anticipating your willingness to share. An expected yield of 15 oz/plant can have you well positioned to harvest late September to early parts of October. Indoor growers can look for up to 500g/square metre.

Orange Crush has an 80 percent sativa and 20 percent indica ratio, which means it's energising and stimulating, something that is typical of sativa-dominant strains. It is a sativa-dominant hybrid that might wake you up better than a cup of coffee. As a sativa-forward plant, you may notice an increase in energy levels as well as a happier, more alert, and awake mood.

Because it is so sought after you shouldn't have trouble locating the cannabis seeds, which are the resulting glorious mix of California Orange and Blueberry. The feminized seeds will produce female plants that deliver buds with the signature orange aroma and bright yellow pistils. What a combination. It should not be a surprise to anyone that it's been a favourite since the 1980s.

The name can be a little deceiving since the buds are actually more of a mottled green that is a combination of regular leaves and green leaves that have almost a purple hint.
